Well, it needn't be that way.. Playing the very first songs on your guitar will be easier if you know the notes on the first two strings, you have to proceed on the third string. What does mastering the basics entail? There are 6 basic steps you need to follow: 1. 7 C Dm Em F G Am Bdim. The first option is to buy a right-handed guitar and re-string it, so that the order of the strings in figure 3 is reversed. Did you know that 95% of guitarists DON'T master the basics. Guitar notes are not really hard to learn as long as you know what to do. 7 All you need is a methodical step-by-step method that makes sense and is easy and fun to use. You don’t have to say all the notes out loud when you’re practicing. Your hand should be positioned directly above the sound hole in the guitar.
