Well, it needn't be that way. Follow these steps and in no time, you can play the notes on the guitar. I am sure you have heard this term before Guitar Frets. Try out both thumb positions and use the one that is most comfortable for you. Learn how to construct a C Major scale. 6 Instead of reading notes on staff paper which can be quite tricky, it is made up of a number system that is so easy my grandma can play smoke on the water with ease!! NO joke. You can also use an instruction book. What is Guitar Tab?!? It is an alternative way of reading music. Learning to play guitar notes will be very hard if you dont have your own guitar. Now place your left hand around the guitar neck and place your right arm around the body so that your hand is lying by the strings. 6 Many beginners fail to learn because they dont have guitars on their hands. It is also ok to press your thumb into the back of the guitar against your stomach. On a slide whistle you blow into it and move the slide up and down to change the pitch.
Even small children can learn guitar notes easily. Again, you must stick with simple songs. 6 Playing the very first songs on your guitar will be easier if you know the notes on the first guitar string. It doesnt make a big difference if you have 20, 22, or 24 frets on your guitar. It also is the closest to the ceiling. It is left to right.
