You don’t have to work on all the notes at once. Learn to do step 5 in all keys. When you place your finger (form your left hand) in between two frets and hold down the string you are then prepared to strum or pick the string with your right hand. Hint: It's much easier than you think.. The second string is B, C (first fret), and D (third fret). 2 Basic must-know guitar theory. The following 6 lines do not represent your typical ‘music staff’ which actually has 5 lines. On a slide whistle you blow into it and move the slide up and down to change the pitch. You can’t depend entirely on the music sheets that you have. You see, guitar playing is like the lessons that you learn in school. G is the open string and the other note is A (second fret). 2 You don't have to learn any new patterns. Did you know that 95% of guitarists DON'T master the basics.

But the simple fact is, if you want to be the best you can, as soon as you can, then all you need to do is - copy what the pro's do. 2 (Because the string is getting shorter!). Easy and fun to learn and play. Well, it needn't be that way. It will be a lot easier to learn the notes by using these simple songs. The notes are played on the guitar’s fret board. It doesn’t make a big difference if you have 20, 22, or 24 frets on your guitar. 2 Now that you know the notes, you have to conduct some exercises. When you play a string open, that is the lowest (deepest) sound you will hear produced from that string. The second option you have is to buy a left-handed guitar. When you know these notes already, start playing them together with the other notes you’ve learned previously. This is the hand that you will use to "strum" the strings to make the different chord sounds. Guitar notes are not really hard to learn as long as you know what to do.
