Learn how the chords of the major scale are made and what they are. You should grasp the pick between your thumb and forefinger of your right hand. Mastering the basics means being able to play in all keys. Learn to play those triads with common chord progressions. Still, if you can afford the expensive guitar teachers, you can always hire them. 3.
