You must know the notes by heart, you have to be motivated and you must be persistent. Thats how Tablature was invented. 5. You dont have to work on all the notes at once. Know them by heart. Learning to play guitar notes will be very hard if you dont have your own guitar. 1 . You can start by playing simply melodies like that of nursery rhymes. 4. With that out of the way we can work on our next keyword. Frets. It will be a lot easier to learn the notes by using these simple songs. 1 Rest the guitar body on your right upper thigh. Once you can do steps one to five in the key of C, it's real easy to learn it for the other 11 major keys..
If you're left handed, don't worry. Now place your left hand around the guitar neck and place your right arm around the body so that your hand is lying by the strings. It doesnt make a big difference if you have 20, 22, or 24 frets on your guitar. 1 Many beginners fail to learn because they dont have guitars on their hands.
