Did you know that 95% of guitarists DON'T master the basics. What is Guitar Tab?!? It is an alternative way of reading music. 1 Just imagine the bottom line as being the top string thats closest to you. You see, guitar playing is like the lessons that you learn in school. 1 Learn the names of all notes on all strings, one string at a time. Oh yes, they mean to get around to it, but they hardly ever do.
1 There are so many methods and so many conflicting opinions, it makes it difficult to know what to do. The notes are played on the guitars fret board. 1 This just means that you can play a couple notes higher on the guitar and those notes are so high pitched they are pretty annoying to listen to anyway! You will stay in the lower range of the guitar most of the time. If not, they are the metal strips that go up and down across the fingerboard of the guitar. 1 You must know the notes as well as their names, and most especially their sounds. They separate the notes (tones) on the guitar.
1 It really is not hard at all. Now place your left hand around the guitar neck and place your right arm around the body so that your hand is lying by the strings. 1 You dont want to put your finger on the metal fret itselfbut just slightly to the right of it produces the best sound. Triads are simple 3-note chords. 1 You don't have to learn any new patterns. Everyone knows nursery rhymes and even if youre all grown.
