You dont have to work on all the notes at once. Once you master and memorize the notes, you can now read advanced music guitar sheets. All you need is a methodical step-by-step method that makes sense and is easy and fun to use. Instead of reading notes on staff paper which can be quite tricky, it is made up of a number system that is so easy my grandma can play smoke on the water with ease!! NO joke. 1 It is left to right. Follow these steps and in no time, you can play the notes on the guitar. If you are right handed, the guitar neck should be pointing towards your left. You can start by playing simply melodies like that of nursery rhymes. 1 Adjust your body positioning so that you are completely comfortable. The string that is closest to the floor. Now that you know the notes, you have to conduct some exercises.
Now place your left hand around the guitar neck and place your right arm around the body so that your hand is lying by the strings. 1 After mastering the notes on the first two strings, you have to proceed on the third string. The back of the neck is curved, so that your hand molds into the shape of the neck. The second string is B, C (first fret), and D (third fret). The closer you bring the slide to you the higher the pitch gets and vise versa. 1 As soon as you place your finger on the First Fret and then strike the same string again the pitch will be slightly higher. You have two options here. You dont have to say all the notes out loud when youre practicing. You see, guitar playing is like the lessons that you learn in school. 1 You must know the notes by heart, you have to be motivated and you must be persistent. Still, if you can afford the expensive guitar teachers, you can always hire them.
Learn the names of all notes on all strings, one string at a time. The following 6 lines do not represent your typical music staff which actually has 5 lines. 1 On the guitar however it is not up and down. The second option you have is to buy a left-handed guitar. Pick up your guitar and place the back of the guitar against your stomach. Learn how to construct a C Major scale. 1 Know them by heart. Easy and fun to learn and play. Learn to play those triads with common chord progressions. This is a common thumb position for constructing chords. 1 Again, you must.
